Calendar
Well, I finally finished a calendar for my sister. I am only three months late but who's counting. lol I made it out of grunge paper. I wish that paper didn't smell so bad. I guess it airs out after a while. This isn't the calendar that I usually make for her but sense Amuse doesn't sell the calendar any more this will have to do. I used a die from Tim Holtz Alterations to cut a small easel to stand the calendar up. It worked wonderful. I don't know why I never used it before.
Today I made a get well card. I used a Lili of the Valley stamp. I love these little stamps. They are so cute and fun to color. The designer paper is from a 6" x 6" paper pack called "A walk in the garden by Best Creation Inc. I bought it at Great Scraps in Millersville. This is the place to go for paper if you are in Maryland. The oval die is a new one I got from Spellbinders. It is called Floral Ovals. I used a smaller one in the inside for the sentiment. It seems like it has been for ever sense I made a card and I know it is not true because I just went to a shoe box swap. lol

Cigar box IV
This is actually the first box I made. I wasn't sure what I was doing. But I got it done. The one with the blue on it was for a gift for my SS at Christmas. The second box was for my daughter in law.
Cigar box III
This is the first cigar box I made after I knew what I was doing. This is the one that I made when I took a class at Queens Ink. The knob is made out of buttons. The feet are from Ranger. Gotta love those cigar boxes.
Cigar box II
This box went to my sister, Nina, in Maine. The papers on this box is from Simple Stories. Gotta love their papers.

Copic Certified
I finally got my copic certification "Yipee, for me" I have been wanting to do this for so long. I got the standard certification and now can't wait to get the Intermediate one. Here is a picture of me and the girls at York Pa where we took the class. Our instructor was Marianne Walker. We couldn't have asked for a better person to teach our class.
