Is there a end to this madness

Seems like I want to learn everything.  Is there no end.  I have taken up knitting and crocheting.  I have learned to Tunesian crocheting and Portuguese knitting.  I have learned the difference between Continential knitting and English knitting.  I am trying it all.  Now I have the urge to learn to draw.  So I am going to post my attempt at doing faces.  I am trying to capture different moods.  Not doing so well.  They kind of look all the same to me.  I did get them to face in different directions.  I even got a dude in there with curley hair.  lol Its all fun.

Card #3

Yep, I have been playing again.  Can't seem to stop coloring these little Saturated Canary images.  This one I colored with my Copic's.  I love adding all these layers to my cards and it gives me a chance to use all these dies that have  been setting around here forever.  I used my punch to punch out the coffee filters again to make the flower.  I colored the four layers of punched coffee filers with copic markers, added a brad to the center and scrunched it up.  When you unfold it you have a beautiful little flower.  Try it!!  Its  not too thick to mail.  I like that alot. The image is cut with a Nestie circle die. The red cornors and the red scollop circle are Nesties as well.    The doiley is a MFT  die, and the leaves are cut with a Marianne Designs die.  I can't remember who made the button die. I glued designer paper to some cardstock and cut the the buttons out.  They needed to be a little more stable and the cardstock did that for me.

Just a few things I have been doing.

It has been forever sense I have been on my blog.  Its not that I haven't been making cards or things because I have.  I guess I have just been a bit lazy.  I have taken my Intermediate Copic certification.  What a great day that was.  I can now proudly display my certification label.  Or whatever it is called.  I am learning to knit so I have been making hats and scarfs like you wouldn't believe.  Everyone I know I think has a hat.  lol  I took a Portuguese knitting class on Sat. from Andrea Wong.  She is an excellent teacher and her knitting is above compare.  So today I thought I would make a couple cards using my Prismacolor pencils.  It has been forever sense I have used them.  It was such fun. The flowers on these cards are made using coffee filters and coloring them with Copics.  The images are digital images from Saturated Canary

At the Copic Class we experimented with using dark colors and light sources.  So I had to try them out on a few stamps that I got down to the Queens Ink in Laurel, MD.
