Zentangle class

This past weekend I took a Zentangle class at the Queens Ink in Savage Mills with my friend Mary (http://mystampinhide-away.blogspot.com/) .  It was more than I expected.  I really didn't think I would be able to do it.  They look so complicated.  But like anything else once you break it down into steps it was a lot easier than it looks.  Patti gave great directions on how to do each pattern.  All you had to do is figure out where you wanted to put each pattern on your tile (the 3 1/2" x  3 1/2" inch piece of paper you draw on) I was looking at the Zentangle.com site and they actually sell a 20 sided numbered die that corresponds to a card with 20 patterns on it so if you get stuck all you have to do is roll the die.  lol  Maybe I need to look into that some more.  I tried adding color to one but I think I like the black and white ones better.

  1. I had such a fun time taking this class with you!! You are a natural at Zentangling! Each one of your tiles is more intricate the the one before it! Keep it up! I love seeing your creations! Can't wait for the next class next month!!
