More Christmas Cards

Here are a couple more.  I used the same image from Lili of the Valley but I colored them different colors.  The Sketch is the same as the others except for the differnet nesties. I used different glitter on the fur around her face.  I think I like the chunky one best.  It gives more shine.   Enjoy!

Started my Christmas Cards

Finally, I have finally started making my Christmas cards.  I used my Lilli of the Valley stamps to make these two cards. these are kick stand cards.  The card base front is cut about half way and punched with a border punch.  I sewed my papers onto  background cardstock and glued it to the base.  I used my copics to color them and the rest is just fru fru's.  I had a little mishap on the card with the cat.  I was going to apply a little crystal accent to the circle that says "Believe" but instead of just pulling the little pointy cap off I unscrewed the whole thing and dumped it all over my card.  Thank heavens I had a towel and could wipe it off before it stuck.

Samantha

Well, here she is in all her glory.  I have been waiting for this image every sense I saw it on Sassy Studio Designs. http://sassystudiodesigns.blogspot.com  And she is quite sassy.  The chair stamp is from Hero Arts.  I was wanting that stamp forever.  Every time I would go into Great Scraps there it was just looking at me saying "Take me home"  Finally I gave in.  It is so happy here, what took me so long.  hee hee I used Mohawk paper to print Samantha on and colored her with my Copic markers and that is all the coloring I did on this card.  I really wanted her to stand out.  Now that I had her comfortable in that big old chair what was I going to use as a sentiment.  It had to be a little sassy because look who we are dealing with here.  So out came the stamp set from "There She Goes"  called LOL Taglines "08-0031"  I hope you enjoy this card because I really had fun making her and I don't get to use those sentiment stamps often.
